HSE Coordinator - Cyber Security & Digital Identity (CDI)
Location: Fareham, United Kingdom

As an HSE Coordinator within the CDI team, you will contribute to achieving world-class Health, Safety, and Environmental performance by supporting HSE processes and driving business excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Risk Management:
- Provide HSE support to operational teams, identifying risks and implementing effective controls

Incident & Safety Culture:
- Complete and review risk assessments
- Oversee incident/near-miss reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis, implementing preventative actions
- Foster a strong safety culture through employee engagement and H&S training (covering inductions, manual handling, toolbox talks, fire management, and drills across a 3-shift system)
- Maintain training records, health surveillance matrices, and continual improvement processes

Contractor & Operational Safety:
- Manage contractor compliance, including RAMS review, permit management, inductions, and on-site safety monitoring

Auditing & Compliance:
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with:
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
- ISO 50001 (Energy Management)
- Drive action follow-ups, audit readiness, and close-outs

HSE Systems & Reporting:
- Maintain HSE systems, including:
- Incident logging and action tracking
- Compliance dashboards and reporting tools
- PPE management documentation
- Support sustainability initiatives and Net Zero programmes
- Facilitate HSE committee meetings to ensure consistency across sites
- Maintain HSE systems, including:
Skills and Requirements
- Proven expertise in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management
- NEBOSH certification (Essential)
- Practical knowledge of HSE legislation, with experience implementing controls to minimize injury risks
- Awareness of environmental impacts and mitigation strategies
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail for hazard identification and incident investigations
- A formal qualification in Health & Safety Law is desirable but not mandatory
Security Clearance Requirement
This position requires a Security Clearance (SC) as part of ongoing employment.
- General eligibility: At least 5 years’ residence in the UK (for full SC).
- Continued residence: 3 years out of the last 5 years may be considered, subject to additional checks.

The role will commence with BPSS clearance, followed by progression to full SC compliance.
