Our Client are looking for two experienced HSE Supervisors to work back to back on an onshore wind farm project in Scotland (DG4 6JX).

Location: Scotland (DG4 6JX)
Start: ASAP
Duration: until the end of the year /possible extension
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Shift pattern: Day shift, 10 hours per day
Scope: 44 wind turbines
Requirement: 2 HSE Supervisors

Contractor confirms to have a valid driver license and a car ready to use for the local transportation during onsite mission at construction site

Scope of work

The HSE Professional will be responsible for, among other duties:

  • Ensure positive HSE approach for the different companies on site.
  • Deliver HSE support and understanding of rules, problem solving and positive approach towards HSE issues.
  • Communicate Client HSE rules to all persons entering the site
  • Report all Hazards Observations Near Misses and Incident in the IMS
  • Ensure that all personnel have sufficient training, permits, and when needed, medical certificates for the task.
  • Collect and compile risk assessments
  • Putting up HSE signs, on all sites, is a combined task for the SM and HSE Professional
  • Drive (Manage) incident investigation and reporting in IMS to ensure closure through identification of root causes
  • Provide a proactive approach to identify potential safety risks and assist, in development for safe solutions.
  • Process an understanding and knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations, region specific HSE manual including, but not limited to, site safety rules, code of safe practices, Client Lifesaving rules, emergency response plans and environmental policies.
  • Discuss reported incidents and relevant information with site personal and consult if needed with regional Safety coordinators or NCE QSE department if needed.
  • Ownership for and functionality of site Emergency Response Plan.
  • Strive towards spending 90% time in field and 10% time in office (meaning spend as much time in the field as possible).
  • Contractors must bring and use his own PPE on the construction site.
