During 2026, we are continuing to grow our superb HSEQ team supporting delivery of a portfolio of decommissioning related projects in West Cumbria and we invite HSEQ Advisors and Senior HSEQ Advisors to apply. You will be responsible for:

  • Assessing HSE risks and providing professional advice to Duty Holders in accordance with legislation and site policies.
  • Documenting and producing technical reports in support of advice on HSEQ matters.
  • Reviewing and updating advice on current legislation alongside the site team.
  • Driving establishment, monitoring, and review of an effective site safety/Construction Phase HSE plan.
  • Conducting accident/incident investigations and reporting findings.
  • Developing and delivering safety inductions and other identified HSE training for site personnel.
  • Identifying and addressing HSEQ issues, ensuring the safe delivery of the Programme/Project.
  • Promoting a safety-conscious attitude among all site personnel.
  • Providing efficient and effective HSE support to the Site Manager.
  • Assisting in resolving routine HSEQ problems on site and ensuring project HSEQ targets are met.
  • Conducting inspections, observations, and assurance activities to identify performance gaps, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of HSE hazards and associated controls.
  • Supporting the HSE Manager and Duty Holders in interactions with internal and external regulators.
  • Mentoring and supporting HSE role holders, ensuring the competence and HSEQ awareness of the workforce.

Role Specific Expectations:

  • Frontline HSEQ support as per responsibilities above
  • Experience of practical and organisational control of Radiological risks on a nuclear licensed site.
  • Acting as Champion for internal company and client management systems within Business unit.
  • Supervising and supporting HSEQ on a portfolio of Decommissioning work fronts on a nuclear licensed site.
  • Clearly understanding the role of a Tier 1 Engineering provider, and Main/ Principal contractor in a CDM environment.
  • Attending client site regularly, as required, to meet business and project delivery support needs.
  • Migration and refinement of Management systems and processes, to align with project requirements.
  • Conducting and supporting periodic HSEQ reporting and dashboards at and project or group of projects.
  • Coordinating and liaising directly with all key stakeholders from client, JV partners, subcontractors to provide coherent control of work.
