The HSEQ Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London, responsible for supporting and monitoring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across construction projects.

Day-to-day activities include:
- Conducting site inspections and audits
- Advising project teams on compliance with legislation and company policies
- Promoting best practices to reduce risk and improve safety performance
The role involves:
- Preparing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements
- Maintaining HSEQ documentation and records
- Assisting in incident investigations and root cause analysis
The HSEQ Advisor will:
- Deliver toolbox talks and training
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with site management, operatives, and subcontractors to ensure consistent implementation of HSEQ processes
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety knowledge, including practical experience in occupational health and safety within construction or a related industry.
- Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills, with the ability to integrate environmental considerations into site operations and compliance activities.
- Candidates should possess Auditing skills, including experience conducting site inspections, internal audits, and reporting findings with clear corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess NEBOSH or equivalent H&S certification, demonstrating formal training in health, safety, and environmental management.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and coaching abilities, enabling effective engagement with site teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and use of standard office and HSEQ-related software tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of UK construction regulations, CDM requirements, and relevant industry standards; membership of a professional body (e.g., IOSH) is beneficial.
- Candidates should possess a valid UK driving licence and have the flexibility to visit multiple project sites as required.
