Join the RAC as an HSEQ Business Partner and play a key role in helping us maintain safe, compliant and high-performing operations across our field-based teams.
Working closely with operational managers, technicians and frontline colleagues, you'll support health, safety, environment and quality activities across your region. From audits and inspections to investigations and coaching, you'll help identify risks, drive improvements and promote a positive safety culture.
Whether you're already working within HSEQ or looking to move across from an operational field-based role, we'll support your development with funded qualifications and the opportunity to build a long-term career within the function.
What You'll Do
- Carry out audits and inspections across vehicles, equipment, premises and operational processes
- Support operational teams with compliance activities, risk management and annual inspections
- Identify risks, defects and non-conformances, providing practical recommendations and corrective actions
- Investigate incidents and support follow-up actions to improve safety and performance
- Provide coaching, guidance and training to promote safe ways of working
- Work closely with operational colleagues and external contractors to maintain standards
- Plan and manage your own workload to ensure compliance requirements are delivered throughout the year
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across health, safety, environment and quality

What You'll Need
- Experience within a field-based operational environment
- The ability to identify risks and implement practical solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
- Good organisational and planning skills
- A willingness to learn and develop within an HSEQ career
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is desirable, but not essential
- We welcome applications from candidates with transferable operational experience and a willingness to develop within HSEQ
- A full UK driving licence
Location & Salary
Location: Field-based covering Bristol, Swindon and the wider M4 corridor (travel across the region will be required)
Salary: Up to £36,000 depending on experience and health & safety qualifications + annual bonus + company EV
