APPLY Job Description

Join a global leader in buildings and infrastructure solutions as a Director in the North West Health & Safety division leading a regional service line specialising in Health & Safety Consultancy and CDM/Principal Designer work. As Director of Health, Safety & Quality, you will lead a growing team, lead safety programmes for major clients and oversee the financial aspects of running a division.

This is a role which requires someone who has a balance of both technical and commercial skills, whilst also being able to lead and mentor the Associates and Associate Directors within the team. To be successful in this role, you will need experience working in a leadership role, ideally within a consultancy environment - whether that be as a Team Lead, Associate, or Director. Technical knowledge comes first for this role, so there is an expectation that the successful candidate will have led on major projects, and will hold the necessary qualifications expected at Director level across IOSH and APS alongside a safety, construction or design degree.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
