HSES Manager

Type of employment: 12-Month FTC

Location: Central London

Salary: £75,000–£90,000 + additional benefits

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in office)

I am currently supporting an international organisation operating within the sustainable infrastructure sector as they look to appoint an HSES Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

This role will provide a strong opportunity for someone with a strong background in Environmental & Social Due Diligence who enjoys influencing investment decisions and working on complex international infrastructure projects across Asia and Africa.

The Role

  • Lead Environmental, Health, Safety & Social (HSES) due diligence on new investments.
  • Review environmental and social risks, identifying issues early in the project lifecycle.
  • Develop HSES recommendations, action plans and management documentation.
  • Support HSES assurance, compliance and implementation across a diverse project portfolio.
  • Provide technical expertise on environmental, social and human rights risks, including modern slavery, child labour and safeguarding.
  • Support HSES audits, reporting, continuous improvement and the delivery of the organisation's long-term sustainability strategy.
  • Deliver HSES guidance and training to internal teams and project stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
