Job Description: Program Delivery Manager

At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has an opening for a Program Delivery Lead. You will be reporting into the account project lead, and working closely with both the delivery stream leads and our client partners. You will be developing strategies and managing diverse teams in a multi-stakeholder, complex environment, while maintaining motivation in a matrix organisation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the governance and prioritisation of project delivery within the portfolio, ensuring adherence to cost and quality
  • Ensuring client satisfaction within the portfolio of projects
  • Timely status reporting on the project portfolio, including change requests
  • Assigning project managers, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources, including managing priority conflicts and resource constraints
  • Managing conflicts and risks, being an escalation point for these matters
  • Ensuring appropriate planning and management on all projects, including financial reporting

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • An ability to deliver large scale IT and business change projects
  • Inspiration to our team of project managers, who will take day-to-day direction from you
  • An ability to mentor and actively encourage the development of project team members
  • Strong management skills of third party and customer relations
  • A willingness to harvest new opportunities to grow the project portfolio
  • Strong customer presentation skills
  • A strong attention to detail and adherence to governance

Desirable Skills And Technologies

  • Experience in structured methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, SAFe, and Scrum
  • Experience within financial management, including budget responsibility
  • Experience in customer stakeholder relationship management
  • Experience in delivery/programme/project management
  • Experience in managing individuals
