Role Details
Location: Hamilton Business Unit
Hours & Contract:
- 37 hours per week
- Fixed term for up to 3 months
- Work Pattern: 2-week rotate
- Week 1: Monday–Thursday, 7.30am–5.15pm
- Week 2: Tuesday–Friday, 7.30am–5.15pm
Salary: £39,856 – £40,995 per year
About the Role
South Lanarkshire Council is seeking an experienced trade specialist (Painter) to support building services projects, including new build, refurbishments, and maintenance.
You will be time-served in your discipline, holding a relevant SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification, with proven high-quality workmanship across both commercial and domestic projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing painting and decorating tasks efficiently
- Meeting deadlines within pre-determined timescales
- Maintaining customer care and professional communication
- Adhering to health and safety standards
