Housing Assistant – Closing Date: 8 July 2026

Location & Contract

  • Where? Brandon Gate, Hamilton
  • Role type: Permanent
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Hours per day: Mon–Thu 8.45am–4.45pm, Fri 8.45am–4.15pm
  • Salary scale: £25,183 – £28,358 per year

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an skilled Housing Assistant with exceptional customer service and communication expertise. This dynamic role involves:

  • Addressing occasional duties including:
    • Word processing
    • Filing and photocopying
    • Supporting Housing Officers and tenants with advice
    • Contributing to community impact through front-line customer support
  • Relying on strong organisational skills to prioritise a varied workload
  • Utilising strong IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Applying a high level of confidentiality in a sensitive housing environment

The role offers career progression within Housing Services and invites candidates to develop skills within a diverse, customer-facing setting.
