Job Description

Our HTA Early Talent Programme offers a two and half year position with rotations across the UK HTA and Pricing team. The HTA Team is a key pillar of the UK Market Access Division, with a mission to turn research into reality by securing unrestricted access for patients to our life changing medicines.

The programme is focused on providing experience with robust and impactful projects, development opportunities, and networking engagements. You will be part of an innovative organisation with a career focused culture and will be given the opportunity to dive into diverse projects and connect with industry leaders who will guide and mentor you along the way. You will benefit from tailored training, one-on-one coaching, and a community that values your unique contributions. The programme will be full-time based at the AbbVie office in Maidenhead, UK.

What will the programme involve?

  • 2 to 3 rotations – developing HTA strategy, health economic (HE) technical expertise and pricing
  • Development of experience across therapy areas
  • A launchpad for your career in market access

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of HTA strategy, HTA submissions and responses
  • Support key HTA processes
  • Support the development of UK HE deliverables, including cost-effectiveness (CE) models, indirect treatment comparisons and budget impact models
  • Support engagement with key external experts
  • Support strategic pricing decisions across therapy areas. Analyse competitor pricing landscapes & market dynamics.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Ambition, drive and a curious mindset, not afraid to question the status quo
  • Creativity and adaptability with strong problem-solving skills
  • Communication & Decision-making: Articulate and assertive with the ability to communicate with proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Academic Prowess: An interest in the Life Science industry. A degree in Health Economics is desirable

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant graduate level program (i.e. a Master’s or PhD) at an accredited university, such as: health economics, (bio)statistics, data analytics, economics and related disciplines in life sciences
