About The Role
In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, immediate support and safety advice to victims and survivors of domestic abuse via the IDAS helpline.
- Complete risk assessments and safety plans to reduce harm and support the wellbeing of individuals and their families.
- Carry out holistic, client-centred needs assessments and make appropriate referrals to internal and external services, referring high-risk clients to the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and represent them as needed.
- Liaise with agencies such as housing, health, social services, police, and legal professionals to advocate for clients.
- Participate in the delivery of both daytime and out-of-hours helpline services.
- Support clients in making their homes safer and accessing refuge or counselling services where appropriate.
- Highlight safeguarding concerns and report them in line with IDAS procedures.
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all communities, including those who are underrepresented or marginalised.

Contract: Permanent
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Full-time - 37 hours (working pattern 10am-6pm)
