HubSpot Manager, Sales Operations | Own the Platform. Drive the Pipeline.
PE-Backed Tech Scale-Up | £1bn Valuation | 30,000+ Customers
Internal Job Level - Senior Specialist / Manager
Reporting To: Revenue Operations Director
Hybrid Working Any UK Office - Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Shoreham-By-Sea
Who we are
Focus Group is one of the UK's fastest-growing tech companies. £1bn valuation. 30,000+ customers. 1,300+ employees across 20 offices. Backed by PE firm Hg and scaling fast through organic growth and acquisition.
Our Revenue Operations function sits at the heart of that growth. This role sits within RevOps, reporting directly to the Revenue Operations Director, and is accountable for HubSpot across the entire sales function.
The role
As HubSpot Manager, Sales Operations, you'll be the accountable owner of HubSpot within our sales function — responsible for its strategy, governance, adoption, and continuous development. You'll work closely with our Marketing HubSpot owner to maintain a connected view across the wider revenue funnel, and translate sales requirements into platform capability at every stage from lead handover through to Closed Won.
This isn't a configuration role. You'll be shaping the roadmap, influencing how our sales leaders operate day-to-day, and ensuring HubSpot is trusted, adopted, and delivering measurable value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll own:
- Platform strategy & roadmap — partner with Sales leaders to define where HubSpot goes next; act as the internal subject matter expert for the sales function and represent sales in the wider HubSpot relationship
- Sales reporting — own the reporting framework from lead handover through to Closed Won; design dashboards that give sales leadership a reliable, single source of truth on pipeline and performance
- Feature delivery & development — scope and roll out new features, build sales workflows and automations, manage integrations across connected platforms
- Adoption & governance — own the training curriculum, drive platform compliance across the sales team, and hold overall responsibility for data quality and integrity
- CRM architecture — design and maintain database structures, custom properties, permissions, and lifecycle stage management in collaboration with Marketing
What we're looking for
You'll need to be hands-on with HubSpot — this isn't a role for someone with generalised CRM experience. We need someone who has lived in the platform and owned it, not just worked adjacent to it.
