About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join our client’s team in Telford. This pivotal role involves managing employee relations, providing expert HR guidance, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. The HR Manager will play a key part in supporting the organization’s performance management processes, handling case management from initiation to resolution, and maintaining fair and consistent HR practices across the company. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional to contribute to a dynamic organization, ensuring a positive workplace environment and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources, with at least 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, case management, and HR policy implementation. A relevant HR qualification such as CIPD Level 5 or higher is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to provide clear and practical HR advice. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of employment law and best HR practices, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple cases simultaneously will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Handling employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, conduct, and capability cases with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Providing clear and consistent HR advice to managers and staff regarding policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a positive working environment.
  • Supporting performance management initiatives, including facilitating improvement plans, capability processes, and conducting performance conversations.
  • Owning case management from initiation to resolution, ensuring accurate documentation, timely follow-up, and adherence to company policies and employment legislation.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies, maintaining fair and equitable treatment for all employees.
  • Collaborating with management to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Monitoring HR metrics and preparing reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
