Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Human Resource Manager to provide expert employee relations support and guidance across a range of HR matters. This role is responsible for managing employee relations cases, advising managers on people-related issues, supporting performance management activities, and ensuring HR practices are applied consistently and in line with company policies and employment legislation. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor who promotes effective people management while helping resolve complex workplace matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations cases from initial assessment through resolution.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters and HR best practices.
- Support performance management processes and advise managers on performance improvement actions.
- Investigate workplace issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and confidential employee records.
- Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability matters.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and process improvements.
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to promote effective people management.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies.
- Monitor case progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations casework.
- Strong knowledge of performance management processes and HR best practices.
- Experience providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers.
- Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and employee relations principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
