About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team in Telford. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage various HR functions within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling employee relations, providing strategic HR guidance, supporting performance management initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and the ability to manage cases from initiation to resolution efficiently. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a relevant HR qualification such as a CIPD qualification or equivalent. Proven experience in a similar HR management role is essential, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and performance management processes is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to effectively advise and support managers and employees. The ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion is crucial. Additionally, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple cases simultaneously are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations by handling disciplinary, grievance, absence, conduct, and capability cases with fairness and consistency.
- Provide clear and practical HR advice to managers and staff regarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support performance management initiatives by assisting with improvement plans, capability processes, and conducting performance conversations.
- Own cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, maintaining fair and equitable treatment across the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and organizational culture.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices to ensure organizational compliance and effectiveness.
