Based in their central London office (working hybrid, 3 days in the office) you’ll be part of a growing HR team in a broad role that will see you learning and supporting the team on everything from recruitment and onboarding to reward and benefits, as well as ER and HR reporting – giving you an unbeatable opportunity to develop your skills and experience in HR.

The company is an award-winning law firm with clients across the UK and Europe, who are big enough to offer support, training and professional development, but small enough for you to build strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the business as you grow and develop in the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This a great opportunity for someone keen to kick-start their HR career as they will consider candidates with as little as 6 months experience in HR Administration, or even if you have a year's general Administration experience where HR duties such as posting adverts for jobs, sending out new joiner paperwork, onboarding new starters etc, was part of your role.

Ideal candidates will have gained this experience in a law firm or other professional services environment.

This is very much a people-facing role so excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.

CIPD or a degree in Business Administration with HR (or something similar) would be highly advantageous but isn’t essential.
