HR Administrator Opportunity

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented HR administrator to join our People Team and HR Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional administrative support.

As a HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR records are maintained accurately and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance activities.

Shine is a BSI award-winning national fleet of mobile bodyshop repair specialists. With over 20 years’ experience in the automotive industry, we’ve built a trusted name for delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and putting our customers’ needs first.

We specialise in mobile bodyshop solutions for minor vehicle damage, carrying out repairs at locations convenient for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR and People Team
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
  • Support recruitment activities, including posting adverts, CV screening, scheduling and holding interviews, and preparing offer letters and contracts
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new starters
  • Monitor employee probation periods and create supporting documents
  • Support payroll administration by providing accurate employee information
  • Assist with benefits administration
  • Assist in planning and execution of HR initiatives and company events
  • Support with employee engagement activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislation

Essentials for the role:

  • Previous experience in HR administration
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information sensitively
  • Proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential
