Role Summary: Are you a proactive HR professional ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?

We're looking for an HR Advisor to join our team at Nidec Drives and support our UK people operations. This role will play a key part in providing comprehensive support to the company across all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, disciplinary, grievance processes, and more.

Key Job Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the HR Advisor consist of, but are not limited to: Be a strong point of contact for both managers and employees, providing accurate guidance in line with policy and employment legislation Manage employee relations casework, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and capability management Monitor, review, and update HR policies and processes to ensure these are in line with current legislation Maintain compliance with HR policies and legislation across all areas of the business Onboard new starters to encourage successful integration into the business Support the recruitment process by attending interviews for potential candidates Undertake project work to enhance the effectiveness of the HR team

Qualifications & Experience Requirements: Proven experience in a similar HR role CIPD qualified (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience with HR systems (Workday desirable) Accustomed to managing case loads of disciplinaries, grievances, etc. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels in the organisation and to engender trust in the HR function.

Travel Requirements This role will be based at our main site in Newtown, Wales. However, it will also support our site in Telford, Shropshire and so, occasional travel to this site may be required.
