Human Resources Advisor
People & Training Advisor, £35,000 - £40,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits. Permanent, Trafford.
Our client is a long-established business with a proud history of innovation and quality, operating across multiple sectors within their industry. With a strong reputation for collaboration and customer partnership, they are committed to continuous improvement and sustainable growth. This role has arisen to support the People Business Partner and multiple manufacturing sites, supporting managers and employees, as well as contributing to the wider people strategy.
About the Role
Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this role will provide hands-on HR support across a broad generalist remit, covering employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning & development, and engagement activities. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering pragmatic HR guidance and ensuring processes are delivered effectively and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on HR support across a broad generalist remit.
- Cover employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning & development, and engagement activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering pragmatic HR guidance.
- Ensure processes are delivered effectively and in line with company policies and employment legislation.
- Coordinate training ensuring files are kept up to date and identify any training needs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence in handling casework, supporting recruitment activity, and partnering with leaders to drive performance and engagement.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build credibility quickly.
- A background in manufacturing or a similar environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
