Salary: c£40K

based at our welcoming office in Datchet, SL3 9LL, just off the M4.
On-site Requirement:
A minimum of 3 days per week on-site is mandatory to foster collaboration, support team development, and ensure effective delivery of HR services in a fast-paced operational environment where no two days are the same!

The Role:
We're excited to be growing our People Function and are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our team at ArvatoConnect. As our business continues to expand, we're looking for someone who's passionate about delivering great HR Support and wants to be part of a team that's shaping how we care for and develop our people.
You'll provide hands-on HR Support to a key client group that's growing rapidly, helping managers navigate all aspects of team management with confidence and professionalism.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in embedding best practice, coaching leaders, and ensuring compliance with our policies and employment law.

What you'll do:
- As part of the primary HR team presence at the site, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and commercially focused professional advice on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, and best practice across a wide range of day-to-day matters.
- Where appropriate, participate in TUPE transition processes, ensuring smooth onboarding and full legislative compliance.
- Provide commercially sound recommendations based on data insights, operational needs, and knowledge of employment legislation and relevant case law.
- In conjunction with the HRBP, consult and support on complex employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance issues, and restructuring exercises as required.
- Support and coach managers to effectively manage attendance, productivity, and team performance.
- Design and deliver upskilling sessions for Team Managers, either through content creation or by referencing the existing library of materials.
- In conjunction with the business, support Flexible Working Requests, Probationary Reviews, and Occupational Health Referrals, including all associated correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records of complex cases within an integrated HR, Time and Attendance, and Payroll system.
- Contribute to the annual pay review process and other ad hoc projects as required.
- Interpret and analyse HR data to identify trends and support business decisions.
- As part of a wider team, manage day-to-day HR queries via the HR Ops inbox, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Coordinate logistics for HR-related activities and initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
- Support other client groups and HR team members during periods of high workload or absence.
- Coach junior members of the team as required.
- Undertake other appropriate ad hoc HR-related tasks.
- Ability to easily travel to other sites across the UK

What you'll bring:
- A passion for delivering excellent HR service and building trusted relationships
- The ability to manage a high volume of queries with professionalism, empathy and resilience
- Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills
- Confidence in handling sensitive issues with discretion and sound judgement
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working both independently and as part of a supportive HR team
- Enjoy working with data, metrics and HR dashboards.
- CIPD qualified/part qualified or working towards the CIPD qualification is desirable
- Emotionally intelligent with the ability to manage diverse personalities and differing priorities
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to suit a range of audiences
- Solid knowledge of employment law and an enthusiastic approach to remaining up-to-date.
Minimum Criteria:
- Strong demonstrable experience as an HR Advisor in a fast-paced, operational environment (e.g., contact centre, retail, hospitality) with a heavy ER caseload
- Strong demonstrable knowledge of managing complex employee relations issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to suit a range of audiences
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to planning and problem solving
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Able to commute easily to the Datchet office, with a minimum on-site presence of three days per week and occasional short-notice attendance when required
