Role Objective
Andron FM is one of the UK’s largest independent facilities management companies, delivering bespoke soft service solutions to a wide range of prestigious clients nationwide. We are seeking an experienced, confident and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR team. This is a key operational HR role supporting a designated region and ensuring continuity of high-quality HR support to the business.
You will work closely with operational managers and senior stakeholders, providing practical and compliant HR advice that reflects business needs and employment obligations across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You will take ownership of cases, set direction, maintain momentum and ensure matters are progressed professionally and in a timely and well managed way.
As an HR Advisor at Andron, you will play a key role in ensuring the HR function operates as a proactive, professional and approachable support function, building effective working relationships with managers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Act as the HR Advisor for a designated region, supporting all aspects of the employee life cycle.
- Provide confident, proactive HR advice, support and guidance to Directors, Managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters.
- Take ownership of the HR process for employee relations cases end to end, working closely with managers to provide structure, guidance and support so they can effectively manage their teams, ensuring cases are progressed in a timely, compliant and well managed way.
- Ensure that cases are progressed within any timescales set out by the company or within policy.
- Support managers by being actively involved in employee matters where HR input adds value, including attending meetings when appropriate and helping to guide and resolve employee related issues.
- Effectively manage TUPE transfers, ensuring compliance with TUPE regulations and clear communication with incoming and outgoing employees, as well as all relevant stakeholders.
- Manage and support redundancy processes ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
- Advise and support managers with the application of HR policies and procedures ensuring commercial and legal exposure is minimised and decisions are fair and consistent.
- Support and drive best practice in training and development, including coaching and upskilling operational managers and deliver internal training as required to support this.
- Take a proactive approach to identifying where HR support can improve the employee experience or better support managers in their line management role and take appropriate steps to provide that support.
- Oversee and manage new starters and leavers, ensuring a positive and professional employee experience.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor supporting employee engagement initiatives and promoting a positive employee experience across the organisation.
- Liaise with the payroll team to ensure all employee changes are accurately communicated and actioned in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear, accurate and timely records of all HR activity, decisions and correspondence, ensuring documentation is complete, consistent and supports good decision making and that employee records are maintained in line with GDPR requirements.
- Lead and support HR projects as required by the business.
- Carry out any tasks deemed appropriate by Line Manager or Senior Management for the overall effectiveness of the HR Function.
- Communicate clearly, professionally and in a timely way with managers, employees and stakeholders, maintaining the credibility of the HR function.

- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role within a fast paced operational or multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Demonstrated experience of managing employee relations cases independently from start to finish.
- Confident in advising managers and employees including supporting difficult or sensitive situations.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and tight deadlines
- Able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and professional standards.
- Strong attention to detail with solutions focused approach.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Previous experience within a similar operational HR role.
