Location: Manchester on site
Salary: £35,000-£38,000 – Fantastic Benefits

Medlock Partner is delighted to be partnering with our client who is looking for an experienced People Advisor to join a collaborative and forward-thinking People team in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has solid Employee Relation experience and Employment Law knowledge.
The Job
As a People Advisor, you'll partner with managers across the business, providing expert guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. From managing complex employee relations cases and supporting organisational change to delivering engaging workshops and driving improvements through people insights, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and high-performing workplace.
- Provide expert HR advice and support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Manage a broad range of employee relations cases, coaching managers on best practice while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Support organisational change projects, restructures, TUPE activity and wider transformation initiatives.
- Analyse people data and trends, producing reports and recommendations that help shape business decisions.
- Partner with managers to improve engagement, performance and overall colleague experience.
- Design and deliver engaging training workshops to develop people management capability.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they remain legally compliant and fit for purpose.
- Support wider People initiatives across recruitment, payroll, learning and development, wellbeing and employee engagement.
- Work collaboratively with the wider People team to continuously improve processes and deliver an exceptional internal customer experience.

About You
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing stakeholders across the business.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience working in a People Advisor or HR Advisor role within a fast-paced organisation.
- Strong employee relations experience with confidence managing cases independently.
- Experience supporting organisational change, restructures or TUPE activities.
- Excellent coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, pragmatic and commercially focused approach to HR.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and identify trends.
- Experience delivering training or workshops to managers.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for creating a great employee experience.
