⭐HR Advisor

Osprey Engineering Solutions are currently working with a global leading company within the pneumatics and automation industry. They are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their HR team and provide a professional, commercially focused HR service across the full employee lifecycle. This role requires an established HR professional who can operate independently, build strong relationships with managers and make an immediate contribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary ownership of recruitment, onboarding, employment contracts, training and development administration, individual development programmes and apprenticeship support.
  • Shared responsibility for employee relations casework, investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, manager coaching, ServiceNow HR ticket system, Right to Work compliance, process improvement and wider HR initiatives.

✅About You

  • Previous HR Advisor or equivalent generalist HR experience.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently in a fast paced environment.

  • CIPD Level 5 or above is desirable; however, equivalent HR experience will be considered where substantial generalist HR knowledge and capability can be demonstrated.

Approach

They operate a generalist HR model. Whilst this role initially owns Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning & Development and apprenticeship support, all HR Advisors are expected to work across the wider HR function. Ownership areas may change over time to support business needs, resilience and succession planning, while Employee Relations, ServiceNow HR support, Right to Work compliance and process improvement remain shared responsibilities.
