HR Advisor (Employee Relations Focus) – Deeside, Hybrid Working, Permanent
£38,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits

This is an outstanding opportunity for an HR professional with a passion for employee relations, supporting managers to make balanced, fair, and commercially effective decisions.
What the Role Involves
As the go-to HR advisor for managers, you’ll handle complex employee matters and help guide them through delicate situations:
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Long-term sickness absence cases
- Performance management
- Workplace investigatons
- Hearings and appeals
You’ll collaborate with managers to ensure consistent, fair, and compliant decisions are made for both employees and the business. Key tasks include:
- Providing practical guidance and emotional support
- Coaching managers through difficult conversations
- Ensuring alignment with employment law and company policies

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a case portfolio from initial advice through to resolution.
- Advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, and long-term absence matters.
- Supporting investigations, hearings, and appeals processes.
- Reviewing documentation to ensure legal compliance and fairness.
- Coaching managers to build confidence in handling sensitive issues.
- Managing employment compliance, including Right to Work checks.
- Maintaining case records, ensuring efficiency and progress.
- Collaborating with HR colleagues to deliver a strong, consistent advisory service.
About You
You’ll bring experience in handling complex employee relations issues, with the ability to:

- Support managers at all levels effectively.
- Offer practical, solutions-focused advice while balancing business needs and employee well-being.
- Proven expertise in:
- Managing high-complexity employee relations cases
- UK employment law
- Stakeholder management & communication
- Taking a calm, pragmatic, and assertive approach
- Managing multiple priorities and maintaining strong organisation
- A CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.
