Description

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to provide comprehensive support across a wide range of HR functions within a dynamic UK-based organisation.

You will play a key role in supporting both employees and managers, delivering expert guidance on employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice.

This role requires a confident individual who can manage employee relations cases independently from initiation through to resolution, while maintaining a strong focus on risk mitigation and fairness.

Occasional travel to other UK sites will be required, along with some flexibility in working hours to support employee relations cases involving shift workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and delivery of the onboarding process
  • Assist the Talent team with recruitment administration and contract processing
  • Contribute to HR initiatives, policies, and programmes that support engagement, performance, and retention
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and attendance matters
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on employee relations issues and processes
  • Support performance and absence management, including long-term sickness and occupational health referrals
  • Advise on restructuring and redundancy processes, ensuring fair consultation and selection practices
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Deliver training on employee relations and people management to support manager capability
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues on projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide general HR administrative support as required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
