Human Resources Analyst – Training & Competency (SM&CR)
Location: London
We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Analyst to join a well-established wealth management firm, supporting their Training & Competency (T&C) and SM&CR framework.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset and an interest in HR systems, regulatory frameworks, and data-driven decision making.
The Role
Working closely with the Senior Training & Competence Manager, you will play a key role in managing and developing the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting wider HR systems and reporting.

- Acting as a subject matter expert for LMS (Access) and HR systems
- Supporting SM&CR and T&C frameworks through reporting, pathways, and documentation
- Producing, analysing, and automating HR and compliance MI
- Managing professional qualifications (CISI/CII), including study support and exam booking
- Monitoring CPD activity and mandatory training completion
- Enhancing system functionality and maintaining data accuracy across platforms
- Supporting HR projects and collaborating with Compliance and international HR teams
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in HR, T&C, HR systems, or MI/reporting (financial services preferred)
- Strong Excel skills with experience handling and analysing data
- Understanding of SM&CR, regulatory environments, or training frameworks is advantageous
- Experience with LMS or HR systems (e.g. Access, Sage People, Power BI) is desirable
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
