About the Company
SELA is a fast-growing sports events and entertainment business delivering world-class live events and major projects across multiple markets. As the business continues to scale, we are building a best-in-class HR function to support decision-making, performance management and strategic growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our London-based team. This pivotal role supports the operational backbone of our people department, managing employees across our international offices. You will be the "go-to" person for HR administration, contract management, and benefits coordination, ensuring our global workforce receives timely and accurate support.
The ideal candidate:
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Possesses advanced Excel skills, especially with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas
- Enjoys bridging HR and finance processes
- Is meticulous in administration with strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Global Contract Management: Draft and distribute:
- Employment contracts
- Offer letters
- Addendums for international jurisdictions Ensures compliance with local labour laws.

Benefits Administration:
- Primary contact for global benefits providers
- Manages enrolments, renewals, and queries across:
- Health insurance
- Pension schemes
- Other perks for employees worldwide

HR Operations & Admin:
- Maintains accurate digital employee files
- Ensures HRIS is up-to-date
- Manages the employee lifecycle, including:
- Onboarding
- Offboarding

Finance Collaboration:
- Partners with Finance to support payroll processing, including:
- Monthly payroll accurately processed
- Tracking bonuses, salary adjustments and pro-rated leaves

Data & Reporting:
- Uses Excel to build and maintain:
- Trackers for turnover and headcount
- Leave balances
- Other relevant performance metrics
- Ensures 100% data accuracy in all reporting.

- Tracks and renewal of all:
- Right-to-work documentation
- International visas and work permits
- Adheres to all legal/regulatory requirements globally.

- Onboarding/Offboarding Processes:
- Carrying out full right-to-work procedures for all new hires.
Qualifications
Experience
- 1–3 years in an HR administrative or operational role
- Preference given to experience in multi-country or high-growth environments
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills used daily, including:
- VLOOKUPs
- Pivot Tables
- Advanced formulas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PPT, Access, etc.)
- Confident in:
- Reporting and pulling reports
- Building decks and presentations as required
- Handling family/parental leave records
Must Have
- Attention to detail:Can identify and correct typos in contracts or discrepancies in spreadsheets promptly.
