People Operations Associate
I'm hiring a People Operations Associate to join one of the world's leading cryptocurrency companies on a temporary assignment. We're looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, naturally inquisitive and comfortable handling day‑to‑day employee queries and lifecycle tasks.
Details
- Location - 100% remote (UK based)
- Contract length - Full-time, 6 months (extension likely)
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, day‑to‑day support to employees with any workplace or equipment needs, regardless of their experience level.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, general office processes, and ensuring meeting spaces run smoothly.
- Help document simple processes, share guidance with colleagues, and look for ways to make everyday workflows easier.
- Create clear, helpful instructions and resources for employees and teammates.
- Contribute to team projects and support wider operational improvements.
- Act as a go‑to contact for local teams when they need help or have questions.
- Coordinate with vendors and support basic office logistics when needed.
- Resolve straightforward issues at desks or in meeting rooms and escalate anything more complex to the right team.

Requirements
- Experience providing general workplace or employee support across different devices and tools.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira or similar).
- Comfortable learning new systems and solving everyday employee issues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests at once.
- Clear communication, good time management, and a helpful, service‑oriented mindset.
- Experience working with external vendors or service providers.
