Our client is one of the UK's leading creators of party-led bar and nightlife venues. Founded in 2024, the business is gearing up for an ambitious rollout strategy this year and beyond. Every venue is designed to deliver a unique, memorable experience — from lighting and playlists to glassware, the details are what set their venues apart. The business is led by an experienced senior leadership team where people come first.

The Opportunity

This is a brand-new People Business Partner role, created as the business builds out its People function from the ground up to support its rapid growth. The business is roughly six months into establishing three core HR pillars — Business Partnering, People Operations, and Learning & Development — and there is genuine scope for this person to help shape policy and process as the business scales, not just deliver business as usual. Reporting to the People Director, the role encompasses the South West with approximately 12–13 sites across the group’s brands.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
