Human Resources Business Partner

HR Business Partner Stoke-on-Trent Based onsite - Fulltime with flex, some travel required c£55k + Car allowance and bonus

Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting one of our Manufacturing clients in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a HRBP to join their UK HR team and take responsibility for two manufacturing sites, supporting the UK HR Strategy as well as operational HR activity. Reporting into the UK HRD and working as part of the site leadership team the role is fully generalist and typical of a fast paced, commercial, manufacturing business.

The role requires a highly capable, experienced HRBP with exposure to manufacturing or similar settings who can work autonomously and influence senior leaders on HR strategy and business strategy implementation as well providing strong HR legislation guidance.

Provide expert guidance on strategic HR initiatives, leading on implementation for the site. Lead on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and performance management issues. Drive engagement initiatives and foster an open, performance-led culture Embedding and manage HR systems, reporting, and compliance across regions (including GDPR) Supporting on structural changes across the site Oversee recruitment and talent management across hourly and salaried positions Manage HR systems, reporting, and compliance across regions (including GDPR) Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and collective agreements. Contribute to the delivery of key HR projects and continuous improvement activities across the business.

To be successful in the role

Degree in HR, Business, or related field 5+ years in HR management, including some leadership experience Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or equivalent within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment. Strong generalist HR knowledge with a solid understanding of UK employment law Proven experience handling complex employee relations issues and organisational change programmes. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels. A pragmatic, commercially focused approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
