Human Resources Business Partner
About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth and internal promotion, a leading manufacturer of electronic products for advanced engineering applications is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its team. A key appointment, you will be responsible for providing expert HR support across the entire employee lifecycle while driving best practice in areas such as employee engagement, wellbeing, and performance. Working closely with senior leaders, you will help shape and develop a high-performing, engaged workforce that supports the company's strategic objectives. Candidates are sought with experience working in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution, etc).
The Role
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organisation’s overall business objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects with HR functions.
- Review, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Partner with the senior leadership team, providing expert guidance and support.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
- Provide coaching, training, and advice to managers, promoting best practice and consistency.
- Support managers in attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Provide mentoring and professional development to the HR team.
- Provide expert advice and support across the full spectrum of employee relations matters.
- Lead investigations on complex employee relations matters – including employment tribunal claims.
- Support the recruitment lifecycle and analysis recruitment requirements.
- Oversee training and development programmes and work with managers to identify skills gaps/training.
- Oversee skills matrix systems and support succession planning.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with trade union representatives.

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution, etc).
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
