My client is a unique, internationally respected organisation operating at the forefront of marine environmental response and technical advisory services. With a global reach and a team of around 50 employees, we are seeking an adaptable and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our close-knit team. You will closely work with one other HRBP and the Head of People.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a varied role and enjoys wearing multiple hats. Working within a small but highly successful international organisation, you will partner with leaders across the business, balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on operational delivery.
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you will be the trusted advisor to managers and employees across the organisation, supporting the full employee lifecycle while helping to drive a positive, high-performing culture.

Responsibilities
- Partnering with managers on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development matters
- Leading recruitment and onboarding activities across a range of specialist and corporate roles
- Supporting talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Reviewing and developing HR policies, processes, and best practice
- Managing compensation and benefits administration
- Supporting learning and development programmes
- Providing HR reporting and insight to inform business decisions
- Contributing to strategic people projects while remaining hands-on in day-to-day HR operations
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will likely bring:
- Proven HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience
- Experience working within a small to medium-sized organisation (circa 50–250 employees)
- Exposure to international or globally operating businesses
- Strong employment law and employee relations knowledge
- A proactive, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to operate both strategically and operationally
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience preferred
