New Appointments Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with an internationally recognised organisation to recruit a commercially focused HR Business Partner. This is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior leaders across the UK, Middle East and Africa whilst leading the HR agenda for the UK business.
The successful candidate will work closely with leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives, providing proactive support rather than simply reacting to people issues and who is confident in leading through a time of change.
This is more than a traditional HRBP position. You'll operate as the UK HR Manager, influencing business decisions, driving organisational change and ensuring the people strategy supports ambitious commercial objectives and it offers international exposure.
The role
Reporting into senior leadership, you'll act as a trusted advisor, partnering with managers across all levels of the business to deliver an effective people strategy whilst remaining hands-on across the HR function.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Partnering with senior leaders on workforce planning and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Acting as the HR lead for the UK site and supporting two EMEA locations.
- Building strong relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
- Coaching and developing managers on employee relations, performance and leadership matters.
- Leading and supporting regional HR projects and organisational initiatives.
- Supporting the delivery of HR strategy alongside wider business objectives.
- Driving talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
- Using HR data and people insights to identify trends and support commercial decision making.
- Promoting a positive culture, employee engagement and continuous improvement across HR policies and processes.
- Ensuring HR compliance and best practice across multiple sites.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
