About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our team in a key strategic role. This position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with stakeholders at all levels to deliver meaningful people outcomes.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with managers and senior leaders to support business objectives, drive high-performance cultures, and embed HR best practice across the employee lifecycle. You will combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, demonstrating a willingness to get involved, build capability within teams, and support the delivery of both operational and transformational people initiatives.

A key aspect of the role will be mentoring, coaching, and developing managers, ensuring they have the confidence and capability to effectively manage their teams while applying company policies and procedures consistently and fairly.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced HR Professional with a proven track record of influencing strategic decision-making within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have experience partnering with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including employees, line managers, and senior leaders, providing expert people advice and guidance to support business objectives. They will be confident managing complex people matters, building strong relations, and balancing operational priorities with a strategic HR agenda to drive positive business and people outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and senior leaders to provide strategic HR advice that supports business goals and operational priorities.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop managers to build leadership capability and confidence in managing people-related matters.
  • Support and influence strategic decision-making by providing insight, guidance, and people-focused solutions.
  • Embed HR policies, procedures, and best practice into everyday management approaches and business operations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on a broad range of employee relations matters, providing pragmatic and commercially focused guidance.
  • Drive consistency and fairness in the application of people policies and processes across the business.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, workforce planning, and business transformation projects.
  • Analyse people data and trends to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop talent, succession, and workforce plans.
  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and company culture initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Foster strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, including employees, managers, and senior leadership teams.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner or in a similar senior HR role.
  • Demonstrable experience influencing strategic decision-making and contributing to business outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex people matters.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing management capability.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational delivery.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to translate business needs into effective people solutions.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience).
