Job Description:

Protech Site Services are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a leading national residential developer on a 6-month fixed-term temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused HR professional to partner with senior leaders across multiple business units, supporting both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operational activities within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Senior HR Business Partner

We're looking for an experienced and commercially focused HR Business Partner to work closely with senior leaders across multiple business units. This is a strategic and operational role where you'll partner with Divisional Chairs, Regional Managing Directors, and functional leaders to shape and deliver the people agenda, ensuring it aligns with wider business objectives.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting business growth through effective people strategies while also providing hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This role offers a great balance of strategic influence, operational delivery, and project work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership teams to develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives.
  • Lead talent management and succession planning initiatives, identifying high-potential employees and strengthening internal talent pipelines.
  • Support recruitment activities for key positions, helping attract and retain individuals with critical skills and future leadership potential.
  • Coach and influence managers on all aspects of people management, including performance management, employee development, absence management, and career planning.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by embedding effective performance management processes, clear objectives, and meaningful development plans.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing positive people decisions.
  • Support the reward agenda, ensuring consistency and fairness while helping improve employee retention.
  • Deliver HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including organisational change, engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Analyse people data and HR metrics to identify trends, provide insight, and support informed business decisions.
  • Work closely with the wider HR team and Centres of Excellence to deliver group-wide HR projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of HR policies, processes, and best practice across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
