Human Resources Business Partner at Global Commissioning

As our Human Resources Business Partner at Global Commissioning, you will play a crucial role in aligning our HR strategies with business goals and cultivating a positive and productive work environment.

You will partner with senior management to implement effective HR policies and practices, provide expert guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations, and drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.

Full-time (5 days in the office)

Based at our Head Office in Whitstable

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Partnering:

  • Collaborate with company directors to understand their goals and objectives, and develop HR strategies that support business growth and development
  • Provide strategic input on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters

Employee Relations:

  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
  • Promote a positive work environment and culture by addressing employee concerns and encouraging open communication

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance-related issues

Talent Development:

  • Identify training and development needs within the company and implement effective programs to address them
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures

Organizational Development:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness
  • Facilitate change management processes and support organizational transformation efforts

International Compliance:

  • Assist with visa and work permit applications to ensure employees working abroad remain compliant
  • Monitor and manage international employment regulations to support global mobility
  • Provide guidance on international assignments to ensure smooth transitions for employees working abroad

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field, or minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient with HRIS
