A fast-growing organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join the business during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
This is a broad, hands-on role that will provide immediate support to a busy UK operation, working closely with senior leaders to strengthen the people function, improve ways of working and provide practical HR leadership across the business.
The successful candidate will bring stability, structure and consistency to an established team while helping to embed robust HR processes and support the organisation through a period of positive change.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to a small HR team.
- Bring structure, consistency and accountability to HR policies, processes and ways of working.
- Partner with managers to provide advice and guidance across employee relations, performance management and day-to-day people matters.
- Clarify roles, responsibilities and team operating models to improve effectiveness.
- Support workforce planning, budgeting, engagement initiatives and talent processes.
- Work collaboratively with Finance and Payroll to improve cross-functional processes and operational alignment.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a credible HR partner across the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience while ensuring HR operations run efficiently and effectively.

About You
- Demonstrable experience in a senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or HR Manager position.
- Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can change.
- Able to quickly assess situations, establish priorities and bring calm, structure and direction.
- Equally comfortable delivering operational HR support while contributing to broader people initiatives.
- Experience within multi-site, retail, consumer-facing or operationally complex organisations would be advantageous.

Package
- Fixed-Term Contract: Up to £70,000 depending on experience.
- Interim: Up to £440 per day (Inside IR35 via umbrella).
Additional Information
- The appointment is expected to be offered initially on either a fixed-term contract or interim basis.
- Hybrid working with regular office attendance is required (3 days per week).
