HR Manager – Media/Advertising (Onsite, 3 Days/Week)

About the Role

This position is for an experienced HR Manager with a strong track record in media, agencies, tech, or fast-paced people-centric organisations. Working onsite (minimum 3 days/week in central London), you will thrive in a supportive culture, driving strategic initiatives while benefiting from career development, mentoring, and industry exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently provide HR advice, coaching managers as needed, and clarify company policies for staff
  • Lead the Learning & Development Programme, fostering ongoing upskilling and growth
  • Support strategic projects and people initiatives, shaping a creative, inclusive, and employee-focused culture
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and maintain high standards in hiring
  • Engage employees with partnerships to embed a dynamic, empowered work ethic
  • Mentor junior HR team members to onboard and develop talent effectively

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven HR experience, preferably in media, advertising, or agency environments
  • Strong grasp of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation (up to date)
  • Technical proficiency with HRIS systems and databases, able to optimise workflows and generate insightful HR data
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise across all stakeholder levels
  • Time management and organisational skills, with attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for building HR skills in a fast, inventive workplace
