Human Resources Business Partner - London - Hybrid - up to £300/day - Contract

Robert Half are delighted to be working with a long-standing client in their search for a Human Resources Business Partner for 3 months offering up to £300/day.

We're looking for a proactive HR professional where you'll partner with business leaders to shape people strategy, improve employee experience, and support business growth.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be a trusted advisor to managers, providing expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle while using data and insights to help influence business decisions.

Key Details:

  • Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
  • Pay: Up to £300/day, DOE
  • Location: London
  • Working pattern: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 17:00
  • Contract length: 3 months

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with managers and senior leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support.
  • Building strong relationships across your business areas, attending regular meetings and becoming a trusted people advisor.
  • Supporting performance management, coaching leaders, and advising on employee development.
  • Managing complex employee relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Using HR data and analytics to identify trends, recommend improvements, and drive better people outcomes.
  • Supporting organisational change, restructures, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Advising on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practice.
  • Helping to develop contracts for new hires, promotions, and internal moves.
  • Identifying training and development needs, supporting learning initiatives, and executive coaching.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver people-focused projects and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment legislation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience using HR metrics and data to support decision making.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance business needs with employee experience.
  • Outstanding communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree and/or CIPD qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
