HR Business Partner – Manufacturing Site (Rotherham)
Elevation HR are proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company to appoint a HR Business Partner (HRBP) for their site in Rotherham, offering a full-time, permanent position.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in a newly created role, acting as a versatile HR generalist. As the HR Business Partner, you will partner closely with senior management to support and develop the people agenda across the organisation. This dynamic role offers variety, autonomy, and the ability to drive meaningful change within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role blends strategic influence with hands-on operational support. You will shape the people function, enhance workplace culture, and make a tangible impact while also operating autonomously.

- Acting as the trusted HR partner to managers and leadership teams, fostering strong working relationships
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations and UK employment law
- Coaching and supporting managers to develop leadership skills and improve employee performance
- Leading recruitment, onboarding, and probation processes from start to finish
- Driving employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and people-focused programmes
- Analysing HR data and people analytics to identify trends and inform strategic decisions
- Supporting payroll processes and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Managing and resolving grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and absence calls
- Collaborating on talent mapping, succession planning, and workforce development
- Shaping organisational culture, ensuring a supportive and high-performing environment
- Reporting on HR KPIs and offering insight to support business strategy

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior HR Advisor, Generalist, HRBP, or HR Manager role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations practices
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), logistics, or comparable operating environment
- Ability to influence and coach managers across all levels of the organisation
- Confidence and adaptability in fast-paced operational settings
- A CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential)
