About Hyatt Regency Birmingham

Hyatt Regency Birmingham is ideally located in the heart of the city centre, adjacent to Symphony Hall and within walking distance of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Brindley Place, and the Bullring shopping centre. This contemporary four-star hotel offers direct access to the vibrant canal-side area and is a short stroll from Birmingham New Street Station. The hotel features 319 spacious guest rooms and suites, 12 versatile event spaces, a modern restaurant, a traditional pub-style bar, and a luxurious spa with an indoor pool and fitness centre.

The Role

As HR Coordinator, you will support the HR function across the full employee lifecycle, acting as a key point of contact for colleagues and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR administrative support
  • Coordinate recruitment and interviews
  • Maintain employee records
  • Support onboarding and documentation
  • Assist with payroll admin
  • Support engagement initiatives
  • Act as first point of contact for HR queries

This is a full-time, on-site role, working 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Previous HR experience, preferably in a similar Hotel environment
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proactive and people-focused
