HR Coordinator

Are you organised, people-focused, and looking to build a career in HR? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy HR team where no two days look the same. You'll play a central role in our recruitment activity and keep the engine of our HR function running smoothly, with real scope to grow and develop as you go.


Working closely with our HR Adviser and Senior HR Adviser

You’ll take ownership of recruitment coordination from start to finish, while supporting the wider team with:

  • HR administration
  • Data management
  • Employee lifecycle processes

Core Responsibilities

Recruitment – Your key focus

  • Own and manage the end-to-end recruitment process across all career levels
  • Post job adverts on LinkedIn and other relevant job boards
  • Coordinate interviews, manage interview schedules and follow-ups
  • Work with recruitment agencies within agreed terms and conditions
  • Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Track KPIs like time-to-hire and retention to improve hiring processes

Onboarding & Induction

  • Organise induction schedules for every new employee
  • Ensure pre-employment checks and system access are set up before their first day
  • Support new starters through to the end of their probationary period

HR Administration & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS
  • Process all lifecycle changes (joining, leaving, promotions, complaints)
  • Create and send HR correspondence
  • Be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, escalating as needed
  • Support payroll updates with accurate and timely data

Reporting & Data

  • Produce regular HR dashboards tracking:
    • Headcount
    • Absence records
    • Turnover rates
    • Recruitment progress
  • Supply data-driven insights to support business decision-making

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate training programmes and workshops
  • Liaise with external learning providers
  • Maintain up-to-date training records

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a HR, recruitment, or administrative coordination role
  • Outstanding attention to detail, particularly in high-volume data entry
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and compliance in recruitment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Desirable: CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent (not essential, but advantageous)
  • Passionate about HR with a desire to grow within the field
