Our Human Resources team plays a vital role in shaping the associate experience, supporting the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to engagement, learning and development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our team and help deliver a first-class associate experience across the hotel.

Your day to day
As an HR Coordinator, you will support the Human Resources function across a broad range of responsibilities, ensuring associates and managers receive professional, timely and accurate HR support.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, transfers and departures.
- Maintain accurate associate records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies and GDPR requirements.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and HR-related documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new associates receive a positive and engaging welcome experience.
- Support recruitment activities including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and liaising with hiring managers.
- Assist with learning and development initiatives, training coordination and associate engagement activities.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring employee information and changes are processed accurately and within deadlines.
- Respond to associate queries regarding HR policies, benefits and procedures, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
- Help coordinate recognition programmes, employee events and wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist with the administration of absence management, probation reviews and performance management processes.
- Prepare HR reports, audits and documentation as required.
- Maintain compliance with Marriott standards, employment legislation and company policies.
- Provide administrative support to the wider HR team and support hotel-wide projects and initiatives.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an HR, administration or coordinator role required (1 to 3 years).
- Experience within a similar environment is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, approachable and confidential in handling sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for supporting people.
- Knowledge of UK employment practices and HR processes.
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD is advantageous.
