Human Resources Administrator / General Manager Assistant – W London

Your Responsibilities
Payroll and Compliance
- Maintain accurate record-keeping for all payroll reporting
- Assist the HR Manager with payroll processing and audit preparation
- Serve as the key contact for all talent-related queries (new, existing, and former employees)
Operational & Administrative Support
- Attend meetings with the General Manager, taking clear and actionable notes
- Undertake projects or assignments assigned by the General Manager, including:
- Reporting and data analysis
- Tracking and follow-ups
Note: This is not an exhaustive list; additional duties may arise as needed.
Learning & Development
- Track, schedule, and champion all employee training programmes
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and monitor completion rates
Recruitment
- Monitor recruitment pipelines and apply all pre-hire documentation checks, including:
- Contracting
- Onboarding paperwork
- Represent W London at careers fairs and industry events
- Track job requisitions, hiring policies, and HR scorecard goals

Employee Relations
- Foster open, friendly, and authentic communication across the team
- Support leaders in managing performance, development, and policy adherence
- Assist with investigations, workplace safety reviews, and wellbeing initiatives
- Be the trusted go-to for staff wanting to ask, share, or vent—with kindness and discretion
- Handle all leave processes, exit interviews, offboarding, transfers, and referencing
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records
- Assist with compliance across:
- GDPR regulations
- Right-to-work documentation
- HR policy adherence
- Support safety training and communicate property rules effectively
- Collaborate with external partners on claims, incident reporting, and compliance reviews
