Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
This Human Resources Coordinator position provides critical administrative and operational support to the HR team within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on onboarding and offboarding processes, compliance activities, recruitment support, and accurate HR data management to ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing documentation, coordinating new hire activities, and ensuring a smooth start-to-work experience.
- Support offboarding processes by coordinating exit activities, collecting company property, and ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
- Perform I-9 verifications for new hires in accordance with applicable requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Provide recruitment support for the facility by assisting with job postings, candidate coordination, and communication throughout the hiring process.
- Monitor and support HR compliance activities to ensure new hires and current employees remain compliant with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR team and other internal stakeholders to support HR programs and initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR function and the broader organization.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of human resources experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, or equivalent experience.
- Alternatively, recent graduation with a degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.
- Experience performing administrative HR tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
- Ability to perform I-9 verifications accurately and maintain related documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with employees, candidates, and HR team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Previous experience supporting HR functions in a manufacturing facility is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility, with primary work performed in the office areas of the building. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule on a first-shift basis. The environment combines the structured operations of a manufacturing setting with a professional office atmosphere, where the Human Resources Coordinator collaborates closely with HR team members, facility leadership, and employees across the organization.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
