People Operations Specialist
Location: London (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our People function.
Working closely with the Head of People Operations and wider People team, you'll help deliver a seamless employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. You'll be responsible for coordinating HR administration, onboarding, employee records, compliance and people processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly as the business continues to scale internationally.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
People Administration
- Support the administration of the employee lifecycle, from offer acceptance through to offboarding.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and contractual documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy at all times.
- Process employee changes including promotions, salary reviews and contractual amendments.
- Respond to employee queries relating to policies, benefits and HR processes.

Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate onboarding activities for all new starters.
- Ensure contracts, documentation, background checks and Right to Work requirements are completed.
- Work closely with IT, Hiring Managers and Finance to ensure new joiners have everything they need before Day One.
- Schedule induction sessions and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate employee offboarding and system access removal.
HR Systems
- Maintain employee information within the HRIS.
- Support data audits and regular system housekeeping.
- Assist with HR reporting and people metrics.
- Help improve HR processes and system workflows where appropriate.
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Prepare monthly payroll changes for submission.
- Support benefits administration and employee enrolment.
- Assist with pension administration and other employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
Compliance
- Support Right to Work checks and employment verification.
- Coordinate background screening processes.
- Ensure employment documentation remains compliant.
- Maintain confidential employee records in line with GDPR.
Employee Experience
- Help deliver a positive onboarding experience for every new hire.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Support wellbeing initiatives and company events.
- Assist with People projects as the business grows.

About You
Experience
- 2–4 years' experience within HR Administration, People Operations or HR Coordination.
- Experience supporting the employee lifecycle.
- Experience using HR systems such as Deel, HiBob, BambooHR, Workday, Rippling or similar.
- Experience supporting payroll or benefits administration is advantageous.
- Experience working within a fast-paced or scaling business is desirable.
Skills
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills.
- Comfortable learning new systems and improving processes.
