Workday HCM & Financials Specialists (Consultant to Lead Level) Location: Hybrid (UK – Swindon, Stockton, Newport) Type: Permanent
Overview We are seeking experienced Workday professionals across HCM and Financials to support the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support of enterprise-scale ERP solutions within a complex shared services environment.
Key Responsibilities Configure, implement, and support Workday HCM and/or Financials modules Translate business requirements into functional designs and system solutions Support testing, release cycles, and continuous improvement initiatives Manage incidents, service requests, and enhancements in line with SLAs Engage with stakeholders to deliver effective and scalable solutions For senior roles: provide technical leadership, governance, and mentoring

Key Skills & Experience Proven experience with Workday HCM or Workday Financials Strong understanding of HR or Finance processes within complex organisations Experience in configuration, implementation, or support environments Ability to gather and translate business requirements into system solutions Experience working within Agile or structured delivery frameworks Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Workday certifications Experience in public sector, government, or shared services environments Exposure to ERP transformation programmes or other platforms (e.g. Oracle)
