Are you an experienced Dayforce specialist with a passion for data, reporting, and continuous improvement?
We're partnering with a well-established organisation that has recently completed a major transformation of its HR technology landscape. Having successfully implemented Dayforce as its new HRIS, they're now looking for a technical specialist to take ownership of the platform, optimise reporting capabilities, and become the go-to expert for People Systems across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation investing heavily in its People function, where you'll have genuine ownership, influence key stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in shaping how HR data is used to support business decision.
The Role
As the People Systems & Data Engineer, you'll be the technical expert within the People team, responsible for developing and enhancing Dayforce while improving reporting, automation, and data quality across the organisation.

Working closely with HR, Data, and senior business stakeholders, you'll help maximise the value of the Dayforce platform by building meaningful reporting solutions, improving processes, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the Dayforce platform from a reporting and systems perspective.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and People reporting.
- Build and enhance semantic models and reporting solutions.
- Improve existing reporting processes and reduce manual administration.
- Support ongoing optimisation and configuration of the Dayforce system.
- Act as the first point of contact for Dayforce-related technical queries.
- Work closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions.
- Present reporting and insights to senior leadership when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and system capability.

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
You'll ideally have:
- Recent, hands-on experience administering or developing Dayforce.
- Experience building reports, dashboards, and data models within Dayforce.
- Strong Power BI reporting and data visualisation skills.
- Experience working with semantic models and data engineering principles.
- Confidence working with sensitive HR or People data.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
