Job Title: HR Intern (Unpaid – 3 Months)

Location: Fully Remote

About Us

Metrocart UK Ltd is a fast-growing multi-ethnic grocery distribution company committed to connecting cultures through food. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in human resources within a dynamic business environment.

Internship Overview

This is a 3-month unpaid internship designed for students, recent graduates, or individuals seeking practical HR experience. You will work closely with leadership and support key HR functions while developing valuable professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads and screening candidates
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with applicants
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases
  • Support onboarding activities for new team members
  • Help develop HR policies and internal documentation
  • Conduct research on HR best practices
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interest in Human Resources or business operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • High attention to detail and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field (preferred but not required)
